Roman Golovanov: Petersburg is looking for new investment projects

Roman Golovanov, St. Petersburg Investment Committee’s Chairman, spoke as an expert at the plenary session: «Dialogue between business and state: challenges and prospects» at the opening of VIII International Conference «Corporate Property Management» (REMIC).

The Committee Head spoke about investment process management system implementation and development project in St. Petersburg. «We are going to continue the existing large-scale projects, which were implemented while using the Investment Committee’ help, such as WHSD highway creation and «Pulkovo» territory development, «Chizhik» private tram and the experience scaling, gained for further projects, Roman Golovanov mentioned. «But we are searching for new beautiful, economically viable and interesting investment ideas». We will strive to improve all processes and mechanisms to certain standards, which would help to increase our joint work effectiveness with the investors and accelerate the projects’ life cycle from the investor’s initial appeal to the facility launch administration».

REMIC conference takes place annually for a dialogue between the state authorities’ representatives, Russian and foreign corporations, experts in the corporate real estate management field. Participants discuss the interaction ways between business and state in strategic issues resolving, legislative initiatives and practices for their appliance, as well as the companies’ efficiency increase issues and economy digitalization for the territories’ effective management.
