Investment and cultural cooperation with Shaanxi province has been discussed in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg’s heads met with PRC delegation, headed by Mrs. He Zhun, Deputy Secretary General of the Standing Committee of Shaanxi Province’s Communist Party of China (CPC) in Smolny.

The current event participants noted that St. Petersburg and China have developed constructive cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, tourism and education. St. Petersburg’s and China’s trade turnover increased by 15% for the first quarter of 2019. About three hundred Chinese companies work in the northern capital. About 400 thousand Chinese tourists visited our city for the first half of the year.

The parties emphasized the cultural and business cooperation importance, including in the investment facilities construction for tourism infrastructure.
