The construction of engineering networks of the Islands of Forts cluster continues

At a working meeting of Governor Alexander Beglov with members of the city government, the targeted provision of a land plot in Kronstadt, on the Citadel Highway, to the state unitary enterprise Vodokanal of St. Petersburg for the construction of a utility facility was approved. The investor will build a system of surface runoff treatment facilities designed to collect and discharge wastewater on the territory of the tourist and recreational cluster "Island of Forts". The construction of the facility is provided for by the St. Petersburg wastewater disposal scheme for the period up to 2025, taking into account the prospects up to 2030 and the forecast up to 2040. "The Island of Forts project is being implemented on behalf of the President of Russia. He has already given an impetus to the development of Kronstadt. New public spaces have been created. The restoration of monuments is underway. New road facilities are being built. The plans include the construction of social and educational institutions. All of them must be provided with engineering infrastructure. Including sewage treatment plants for the removal of surface waters," Alexander Beglov stressed. The construction period of the facility and the validity of the contract is 36 months.
