St. Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex reconstruction competition has been announced

St. Petersburg Government announced an open tender for the right to sign a concession agreement on the multifunctional sports and concert complex reconstruction and operation project with Saint Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex.

The bidders are entitled to submit their requests to participate in the tender within 31 working days after the tender documentation publication on the official auction website, according to the norm, established by the federal legislation on concession agreements. The commission will determine the bidders and start to accept the tender proposals, based on the requests consideration results.

The reconstruction project involves the multifunctional sports and cultural complex creation, equipped with an ice arena, meeting the modern construction technologies in St. Petersburg. Its capacity is over 20,000 spectators in the main arena and at least 300 spectators in the small arena.

A recreational park, equipped with a modern gaming complex, will be created in the surrounding area for mass events and various outdoor sports, with the opportunity to use the playgrounds all year round.

St. Petersburg residents will have a great chance to spend their whole family leisure time, engage in various sports and visit master classes during the whole year. In addition to hockey, besides various cultural events, concerts, festivals and world-class shows, allowing maintaining the main concert venue status in St. Petersburg, will take place here».
