The investment brand of St. Petersburg is installed at Pulkovo airport

Banners with the image of the investment brand of St. Petersburg "I invest in SPB" are installed on the territory of Pulkovo airport. The colorful panels present a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Finland, the Cable-stayed Bridge and the Lakhta Center — the main architectural dominants of modern St. Petersburg. Banners decorate the departure, arrival, and baggage claim areas.
The purpose of the investment brand placement is to position the Northern Capital as a megalopolis of the XXI century — a dynamically developing transport hub and a platform for the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects of national importance. The QR code on the banner leads to the Investment Portal of St. Petersburg, which provides up-to-date information about the investment potential of the city, ongoing projects, as well as business support measures.
It should be noted that the development of Pulkovo Airport is a strategic investment project of St. Petersburg. As part of the public-private partnership agreement, the first stage has been completed and an agreement on the implementation of the second stage of the airport development has been signed. The entire project is divided into phases, which allows you to quickly respond to changes and determine which facilities should be built first. The project of the second stage includes the development of the terminal, taking into account the future growth of passenger traffic and the construction of related infrastructure. The design of Phase A will end in mid-2025.
Passenger traffic at Pulkovo Airport in the first four months of 2024 increased by 7% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 5.8 million passengers.
Recall that by the end of 2023, Pulkovo became the second airport in Russia in terms of traffic, serving 20.4 million passengers. Pulkovo is the only Russian airport with a passenger traffic of over 15 million people per year, exceeding the record for aviation in 2019.
