Headquarters for improving business conditions

The Headquarters for Improving Business Conditions was established in 2013 in order to eliminate excessive administrative barriers for entrepreneurs.

In 2016, the Headquarters was headed by the Governor of St. Petersburg.

The Headquarters prepares joint decisions of public authorities and representatives of the business community of St. Petersburg on topical issues of interaction between the city and entrepreneurs, and also unites the efforts of public authorities of St. Petersburg and the business community to create a comfortable business climate in St. Petersburg.

The staff (including the working groups of the Staff) is formed from the heads and employees of the authorities of St. Petersburg (49 people), as well as leading business associations and enterprises of the city (162 people)

The work plan of the Headquarters is approved annually. Meetings of the Headquarters, during which the Governor of St. Petersburg is informed about the implementation of decisions made by the Headquarters, are held quarterly. The results of the review are reported to the Governor of St. Petersburg personally.

All decisions taken are under the personal control of the Governor of St. Petersburg and are issued in the form of minutes of Staff meetings.

Group "Improving the availability of energy infrastructure"; it was created in order to ensure coordinated actions and organization of joint work of executive bodies of state power of St. Petersburg, subjects of investment activity of St. Petersburg, public and other organizations of St. Petersburg on issues of increasing the availability of energy infrastructure, optimizing the processes of connection (technological connection) to networks engineering and technical support.
