The most modern technologies and materials will be used for the construction of engineering and energy facilities in the Yuzhny satellite city.

The Saint Petersburg State Budgetary Institution Center for Energy Saving and Vodokanal Yuzhny LLC have signed a cooperation agreement on the construction of the engineering infrastructure of the Yuzhny satellite city.
The companies plan to apply solutions that improve quality, reliability and energy efficiency in the construction of municipal infrastructure. It is also planned to implement energy service projects in the water supply and sanitation sector, develop methodological materials, recommendations and test programs for equipment and networks.
In addition, within the framework of the St. Petersburg GBU Energy Saving Center and Vodokanal Yuzhny LLC project, they will carry out joint activities aimed at ensuring rational and environmentally responsible use of energy resources and water, as well as join forces in implementing the state policy of import substitution in the water supply and sanitation sector.
Currently, all types of engineering networks are being designed in the satellite city, which will be built in 2026-2027. Temporary power supply has been fully completed at the construction site, and all drainage work has been completed. Construction work on all ten buildings of the first stage of Yuzhny is at various stages.
Earlier, at SPIEF-25, the Yuzhny satellite city signed agreements with Sberbank of Russia and Rostelecom on creating a modern digital environment for the comfort of future residents.
The satellite city of Yuzhny in the Pushkin district is a strategic investment project of St. Petersburg and is on the shortlist of priority projects in Russia. The city-forming element of Yuzhny will be the world-class scientific, educational and innovation center ITMO Highpark, which is being built in accordance with the instructions of the President of Russia to create a network of modern world-class campuses in the country.
