The slide of the overpass of the Slavyanka tram line will pass over the carriageway of the ring road

During the construction of the Slavyanka tram line, the first stage of the suspension of the truss metal structure of the overpass through the Moskovskoye Highway, the railway tracks of the Southern Semicircle of the Oktyabrskaya Railway and the Ring Road has been completed. Since the start of the slide, the superstructure has been shifted by 51 meters and the edge of the structure has reached the boundary of the Ring Road. Specialists are docking new metal structures and preparing to cover the distance above the Ring Road. The work is scheduled to begin on the night of November 1-2, 2024.
In accordance with the permission of the FKU Uprdor "North-West", the movement of motor transport along the exit from the Moskovsky highway in the direction from the Zvezdnaya metro station to the inner ring of the ring road will be completely blocked twelve times during the night. This measure is necessary to ensure the safety of road users during the period of the superstructure slide.
In order to avoid traffic jams, work with complete traffic closure will be carried out at night, during the hours of minimum traffic intensity. The duration of one traffic break will not exceed 10 minutes.
The date of the complete closure of traffic: November 2, 2024.

Thus, in one hour, the metal structures will have time to move over a distance of about two meters. The planned distance of passage per day is 12 meters. And in total, 102 meters will have to pass over the ring road to the support at number 12.
In accordance with the work schedule, the completion of the metal structures of the tallest of the overpasses under construction for the Slavyanka tram line is scheduled to be completed at the end of December 2024.
