As part of the construction of the Slavyanka tram line, an overpass is being pushed over the Moskovsky Highway
The truss overpass at the intersection with Moskovsky Highway, Oktyabrskaya Railway and Ring Road will pass the third level above the Ring Road. The length of the overpass and overpasses will be more than 800 meters, and the width of the roadway is about eight. The structure of 24 spans will be supported by 25 supports.
At the moment, the contractor has completed the large-scale assembly of the metal structures of the superstructure, specialists have begun to gradually slide the overpass over the Moscow Highway onto temporary supports.
Also, during the construction of the Slavyanka tram line on the section between the railway tracks of the Southern Semicircle of the Oktyabrskaya Railway and the Ring Road, the reconstruction of the Russian Railways and communication networks was carried out, work continues on the reconstruction of the water and gas pipelines.
Concreting of grillings and support bodies of future overpasses is carried out on all sections of the first stage of construction from the Kupchino metro station to the village of Shushary.
On the territory of the depot, work has been carried out on the installation of the foundations of all buildings. Reinforced concrete floors of three floors of the administrative building have been erected, waterproofing and insulation of the basement walls have been arranged, specialists are preparing for concreting the roofing, installing the facade on the building of engineering services.
Recall that in 2023, permits were obtained from the State Construction Supervision and Expertise Service of St. Petersburg for the construction of the first and second stages of the tram line along the route of the Kupchino metro station - Shushary — MKR settlement. Slavyanka". Agreements have been concluded to raise the financing necessary for the implementation of the first and second stages of the project. The purchase of rolling stock has been carried out. The amount of funds raised by the investor and the volume of the city's participation in the implementation of the Slavyanka tram line amounts to more than 50 billion rubles, taking into account the purchase of rolling stock.
The concession agreement was signed in 2019 and is designed for 30 years (until 2049). The complex infrastructure project involves the construction of three bridges, four overpasses, a modern automated tram depot, bus shelters, terminal stops comfortable for passengers and the purchase of 22 modern low-floor trams of the Nevsky model.
The Slavyanka investment project is being implemented in order to increase the transport accessibility of the developing large residential areas of Shushary and Slavyanka, as well as the quality and attractiveness of transport services for the population living in the southern districts of St. Petersburg.
The new transport connection will help to relieve the road network. According to calculations, the travel time from Slavyanka to Kupchino metro station will be reduced almost twice, to 30-40 minutes.
In the future, the Slavyanka tram line may become the basis for additional transport projects — the creation of routes to the St. Petersburg State University campus under construction in the Pushkin district, Pulkovo Airport and other tram lines in the south of St. Petersburg.
