The urban planning documentation of the tourist cluster in Gorskaya has been prepared

The creation of a new all-season seaside resort "St. Petersburg Marina" in Gorskaya was discussed on July 19 at a meeting of the subcommittee on the implementation of tourism investment projects of federal significance of the Government Commission for the Development of Tourism in the Russian Federation chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Governor Alexander Beglov took part in the meeting in the VKS mode. The head of the city recalled that following the results of the report to the President, the St. Petersburg Marina project became part of the federal project "Five Seas and Lake Baikal". The city, together with the investor, has developed a roadmap for the project.
"We have carried out work on the preparation of urban planning documentation. We have made changes to the General Plan of St. Petersburg. We have prepared proposals to adjust the Rules of land use and development. We have developed documentation on the layout of the territory within the boundaries of the project. We are completing the coordination of the project of planning and surveying the territory with the executive authorities of St. Petersburg," Alexander Beglov said.
The investor of the project has already completed the development of a master plan and passports for road and engineering infrastructure.
The first stage of the cluster creation provides for the construction of a yachting school and a yacht club. Unique public spaces will appear on the second floor. Among them are the embankments and the park area along the Gulf of Finland. The largest marina in Europe will be created.
It is planned that the additional tourist flow to Gorskaya will amount to more than 1.3 million people per year. About 7 thousand jobs will be created for St. Petersburg residents.
