    SPIEF-2025: Rostelecom technologies will help develop the infrastructure of the Yuzhny satellite city

    On June 18, 2025, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, agreements of intent were signed between Rostelecom PJSC and Yuzhny Satellite City LLC on the development and promotion of effective digital solutions in the field of construction, management and operation of real estate.
    In the presence of Ivan Skladchikov, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee, the document was signed by Alexander Loginov, Vice President and Director of Rostelecom's macro-regional branch North-West, and Sergey Khromov, General Director of Yuzhny Satellite City LLC.
    In 2025-2035, the parties plan to use their achievements to digitalize processes and create a comfortable environment for future residents of the Yuzhny satellite city.
    The essence of the project is the development and implementation of integrated systems of smart information services (unified digital environment) for clients at all stages of construction, management and operation of real estate facilities to create conditions for safe, energy–efficient and comfortable living in the satellite city of Yuzhny. The project provides for the introduction of information security systems in houses and in every apartment, providing access to the Internet, television, telephony and radio.

    The implementation of the project involves the expansion of the existing capacities of PJSC Rostelecom, the integration of modern technologies into all spheres of life in the satellite city of Yuzhny.

    Rostelecom PJSC is a technological leader in innovative solutions in the field of digital government services, cybersecurity, digitalization of regions, healthcare, biometrics, education, housing and communal services, as well as in the field of cloud computing and data center services and others. The company is consistently engaged in import substitution, including its own software development and production of telecom equipment.

    Yuzhny Satellite City is one of Russia's largest integrated development projects, located in the Pushkinsky district of St. Petersburg along the federal highway M20 (Kiev Highway). The satellite city of Yuzhny is recognized as a strategic investment project of St. Petersburg and is included in the shortlist of priority projects of the Russian Federation. ITMO Highpark, a joint project of the Government of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg, Yuzhny Satellite City LLC and ITMO University, will be located here. More than 40,000 jobs will be created in Yuzhny.
