Private sites can be placed on the investment map of Russia

Legal entities and individuals can now place their sites for rent or purchase on the investment map of Russia. This was announced by Murat Kerefov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, at the session "Development of the South of Russia: investments in quality" within the framework of the Caucasian Investment Forum.
"Today, the possibility of placing investment sites by private individuals has appeared on the map. These can be premises for small businesses, as well as land plots for building and farming. Within a couple of weeks, regional administrations will begin reviewing applications, and in August they will be available for rent or purchase," Murat Kerefov said.
The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia launched the Investment Card of the Russian Federation at the end of February this year. During this time, more than 16 thousand investment sites have been placed on it. 
On the map, it is possible to select sites in different regions of the country and compare them, as well as obtain information about key macroeconomic indicators of Russian regions that may have an impact on the implementation of the project. All this allows potential investors to estimate project costs and select government support measures.
The investment map of St. Petersburg is also presented on the city Investment portal. It is built on the basis of the Regional Geographic Information System (RGIS) of St. Petersburg and provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the free investment sites of the city online. 
The investment map of St. Petersburg shows eight main layers, including SEZs, vacant land plots for which bidding is planned, transport infrastructure, engineering infrastructure, and more. For each site (land plot), an object card has been formed on the investment map with a description of the property and legal status, the possibility of connecting to utility networks and the distance from the road network. At the same time, a page with existing support measures in St. Petersburg was created on the portal.
Recall that in 2023, the Investment Portal of St. Petersburg recorded more than 700 thousand visits and 330 thousand unique users, which confirms its role as a key tool for potential investors interested in conducting investment activities in the region.
