    Investor modernizes Okhtinskaya substation

    At a working meeting of the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, with members of the city government, the conclusion of an agreement with PJSC ROSSETI Lenenergo on the development of a land plot in the Krasnogvardeysky district at 54 Zanevsky Prospekt, building 2, letter A. was approved.
    The investor plans to modernize the Okhtinskaya substation at the specified site. In particular, three new facilities will be built: a closed switchgear building (35 kV switchgear) and two complete switchgear units (KRU-SESH-59 10 kV No. 1, KRU-SESH-59 10 kV No. 2).
    "The Okhtinskaya substation provides electricity to the Krasnogvardeysky and Central districts. The modernization of the facility will increase its capacity, increase the reliability of electricity supply to existing residential, business, industrial and social facilities, and create a resource for connecting new consumers," said Alexander Beglov.
    The governor also noted that in recent years the city has been increasing the pace of modernization of the energy and engineering complex. In particular, thanks to effective cooperation with large investors.
    Work on the modernization of the Okhtinskaya substation will not require expansion of its existing territory and will be carried out in accordance with the investment program of PJSC ROSSETI Lenenergo for the period 2021-2025, approved by order of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
    The construction period and the validity of the agreement on the development of the land plot is 36 months.
