ON 16 JUNE THE FIRST MEETING, FROM A PLANNED SERIES, WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN ST PETERSBURG GOVERNOR AND INVESTORS

In the framework of the city’s open policy, the new format of the meetings between St Petersburg governor Georgy Poltavchenko and the investors will make it possible to promptly address the problems arising in investment work. The initiator of regular meetings with investors was St Petersburg Investments Committee. The round tables will be held on a monthly basis.

On 16 June 2013, Georgy Poltavchenko will hold the first round table with investors over projects in transport and hotel infrastructures, in territory development and industrial production, specifically, automobile construction and drug manufacturing. “The main task of the meeting is to establish a dialogue between business and power, spot out chief difficulties and problems in implementing investment projects in St Petersburg, prepare proposals for improving the investment environment in St Petersburg and reduce administrative barriers,” said Irina Babyuk, head of the St Petersburg Investments Committee and initiator of the event.
