    St. Petersburg will receive a treasury infrastructure loan for the creation of engineering facilities for the tourist cluster in Gorskaya and the development of the SEZ

    At a meeting of the presidium (headquarters) of the Government Commission for Regional Development, headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, the results of the competitive selection of infrastructure projects for treasury infrastructure loans (CFC) were summed up and financing of a number of projects using funds raised through the CFC mechanism was approved.
    The list of infrastructure projects that received a high final assessment includes the creation of an all-season seaside resort "St. Petersburg Marina" in Gorskaya. For the construction of the Gorskaya - Konnaya Lakhta sewage collector, a CFC in the amount of 10 billion rubles has been approved within the framework of the Northern Capital project with implementation dates 2026-2028.
    "St. Petersburg‑Petersburg Marina is our megaproject. The resort will become a new point of attraction for the townspeople, which will increase the attractiveness of St. Petersburg for the city's guests, attracting at least 1.3 million additional tourists. Thanks to federal support, we will be able to start construction of a sewer next year, one of the key engineering structures of the future tourist center," said Alexander Beglov.
    The governor also recalled that for the implementation of the project "St. Petersburg‑Petersburg Marina has already approved the documentation on the planning of the territory, and proposals have been prepared and made to adjust the Rules of Land Use and Development. Documentation on the planning of the road infrastructure facilities of the future cluster is currently being developed.
    The St. Petersburg Marina all-season seaside resort is being formed in St. Petersburg on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation to create year-round seaside resorts within the framework of the federal project "Five Seas and Lake Baikal" of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality".
    Another 3.1 billion rubles will be allocated to St. Petersburg as a treasury loan for the development of the infrastructure of the special economic zone. A research and production center with an area of 18,000 square meters will be created on the territory of the SEZ at the expense of the CFC for the needs of the automotive industry as part of the fulfillment of the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation on the formation of an automotive cluster in St. Petersburg.

    From the list of candidate projects that received a high final assessment, the Government Commission for Regional Development reviewed 15 projects in 13 regions totaling about 60.2 billion rubles.
    In total, 83 projects from 42 regions for a total amount of about 221 billion rubles were admitted to the competitive selection.
