The investor is upgrading a substation in the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg

At a working meeting of the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, with members of the city government, the conclusion of an agreement with PJSC ROSSETI Lenenergo on the development of a land plot in the Kalininsky district on Obruchevykh Street was approved.
The investor plans to carry out a comprehensive modernization of substation No. 29 Sosnovskaya. The power transformers and switchgear of the substation will be replaced. The volume of investments will amount to more than 5.5 billion rubles. The work is provided for by the investment program of PJSC ROSSETI Lenenergo for the period 2021-2025, approved by the order of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
"Joint work of the Government of St. Petersburg‑St. Petersburg's cooperation with PJSC ROSSETI Lenenergo is consistent with the city's priorities in creating a comfortable environment and the objectives of the new national project "Infrastructure for Life," the governor emphasized. – Sosnovskaya substation provides electricity to residential areas, metro stations, scientific institutes, schools, hospitals and other socially significant institutions. Modernization will increase the reliability of their supply and create a resource for joining new consumers."
In relation to the requested site, a lease agreement has been concluded between the city and the investor for the period until 03.10.2053. The construction period and the agreement on the construction of the site is 60 months. Construction and installation work will be carried out in an operating electrical substation, without taking the equipment out of operation.
