    Construction of the Slavyanka tram line will restrict traffic in the Pushkin district

    Work within the framework of the project for the construction of a new tram line along the route Kupchino metro station – Shushary settlement – Slavyanka district has been deployed in all sections. The beginning of the summer season will allow us to increase the pace of construction in order to launch the tram in the first stage by the end of the year – from Kupchino metro station to the village of Shushary.
    The following traffic restrictions are already in effect and will come into force in connection with construction work in the Pushkin district:
    - by order of the GATI, traffic along Novgorodsky Prospekt from Shusharskaya Road to Pushkinskaya Street has been stopped with the organization of a detour along a temporary road. The restrictions are valid from March 12 to September 28, 2025.;
    - starting from May 5, 2025, traffic from Pushkinskaya Street to Pervomayskaya Street will be closed. The closure is related to the reconstruction of the road network and will be valid until July 31, 2026.
    Closures on the ring road are also planned - they will be carried out at night and are associated with the construction of a truss tram overpass.:
    - April 30 – May 1, 2025 - traffic restrictions on the inner ring 3 and 4 lanes;
    - May 7-8, 2025 - closing of the exit from the Ring Road to Moskovskoe Highway (Leningrad Region);
    - May 18-19, 2025 – traffic restrictions on the outer ring of lanes 1 and 2;
    - June 2 – 3, 2025 - traffic restrictions on the outer ring 3 and 4 lanes, the inner ring 3 and 4 lanes;
    - June 12-13, 2025 - closing of the entrance to the ring Road from Moskovskoe Highway. Traffic restrictions on the inner ring of lanes 1 and 2.
    Active construction is underway on Starorussky Avenue – residents need to pay attention to the danger of being on the construction site.

    The project for the construction and operation of the Slavyanka tram line is being implemented under the concession mechanism and is included in the state program "Development of the transport System of St. Petersburg", approved by Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg dated 30.06.2014 No. 552.
    The project provides for the construction of a tram line with a length of more than 21 km, including 3 bridges, 4 overpasses, a tram depot, bus shelters, passenger-friendly terminal stops, as well as the purchase of 22 modern low-floor trams.
    Currently, more than 500 workers and about 120 pieces of construction equipment are involved in the work.
