Secondary school by concession has reached the final of the competition of social infrastructure facilities "MARCH"
The members of the expert commission of the MARCH social infrastructure competition have completed the analysis and evaluation of the bids and sent to the Organizing Committee lists of best practices for the creation and reconstruction of social infrastructure facilities based on public-private partnerships, whose activities are aimed at preserving and strengthening traditional spiritual and moral values.
Based on the results of evaluation and comparison of 47 applications received during the main stage of the competition, the project "Financing, design, construction and operation of a comprehensive school for 1100 places, St. Petersburg, Leninsky Prospekt, site 11", accompanied by the St. Petersburg Investment Committee, was among the TOP 20 finalists.
The project is being implemented under a concession agreement. The new three-storey school with two swimming pools will begin accepting students in 2025.
The school has 44 classrooms planned, from the first to the eleventh, including: grades 1-4 – 4 parallels of 4 classes; grades 5-9 – 5 parallels of 4 classes; grades 10-11 – 2 parallels of 4 classes. The elementary and secondary school blocks will have their own separate entrance.
The school is equipped according to the most modern federal state standards. Labor training workshops, gyms, small and large swimming pools, an assembly hall, a library, medical facilities, and a food hall will be equipped for students.
A football field, combined volleyball and basketball courts, four running tracks (100 m), a long jump place, an obstacle course, a bicycle parking lot, a playground with exercise equipment, and recreation areas for students will be organized on the school grounds. A space for school-wide events has been planned in the courtyard of the building.
Recall that the school on Leninsky Prospekt is one of five facilities being created in St. Petersburg within the framework of the national project "Education" with co-financing from the federal budget under the state program "Development of Education". The projects for the creation of five secondary schools in St. Petersburg were selected by the Competition Commission of the Ministry of Education of Russia in March 2022. Construction started in 2023.
