    A land plot has been provided for the implementation of the second MAIP in St. Petersburg

    At a working meeting of the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, with members of the city government, the targeted provision of a land plot to Citystroyalliance LLC in the Primorsky district, Lakhta-Olgino municipal district, on 3rd Konnaya Lakhta Street was approved.
    The investor will create a factory for the production of doors and wooden finishing panels on an area of more than 43 thousand square meters. meters. The total area of the facility will be 27542 square meters, the area of the production part will be almost 24 thousand square meters. meters. 
    "One of the 10 priorities of St. Petersburg that we have identified is "Advanced industry and entrepreneurship development." Earlier, we assigned this facility the status of a large-scale investment project. The agreement between the city and the investor has been signed. The creation of a new enterprise will contribute to the development of the woodworking industry and the implementation of import substitution programs," the head of the city noted.
    As part of the project, the investor will build a workshop for the preparation of components, a workshop for decorative coatings, an equipment repair shop, a production workshop, an objective quality control laboratory, a test stand, as well as household and office premises on the provided land plot.
    "The company's products will be in demand in many sectors of the national economy and among the population. The project is of great importance for the economy of St. Petersburg and the country as a whole. This is a contribution to the solution of the task set by the President to achieve technological leadership," Alexander Beglov said. 
    The Governor also stressed that in recent years there has been significant business interest in the creation of high-tech industries. The city fully supports such initiatives.
    It should be recalled that the assignment of the MaIP status is one of the mechanisms for supporting investors in St. Petersburg, which allows you to obtain land without bidding for the launch of an industrial enterprise. Investors who are ready to invest from 350 million rubles in production can receive the status of MaIP. For them, renting a land plot will cost 1 ruble per square meter. The reduced rate is valid for the period of design and construction.
