The Slavyanka tram line will be presented at the VII International Transport Festival "TransportFest"

The concessionaire of the Slavyanka tram line, BaltNedvizhService, will take part in the VII International Transport Festival TransportFest, which takes place on May 21-23 in St. Petersburg. The company's specialists will share their unique experience in implementing advanced technologies in the field of light rail transport, and will talk about the latest developments in the field of machinery and equipment used on the Slavyanka tram line.
At the Slavyanka stand on Manezhnaya Square, festival visitors will be able to learn about the achievements of the tram line and plans for its further development, and win small commemorative prizes with the line's symbols.
Moreover, the depot of the Slavyanka tram line will act as the official venue for the Transportfest business event, a technical tour for specialists to exchange experience and knowledge.
It should be noted that from December 2025 to May 2026, the passenger traffic of the line exceeded 1 million 300 thousand people.
In December 2025, construction was completed and the first stage of the line from Kupchino metro station on Starorussky Ave. to the tram depot on Novgorodsky Ave. with access roads was put into operation. In accordance with the terms of the concession agreement, the planned completion dates for the second stage are up to md. Slavyanka, — the end of 2026.
The project is being implemented in accordance with the priority of "Convenient public transport". In the future, the Slavyanka tram line may become the basis for additional transport projects, including the creation and operation of a tram line along the route: Slavyanka — Tsarskoye Selo railway station — St. Petersburg State University Campus — Nevsky Delta Shopping Center.
