A sports complex will be built at the Wawelberg Hotel

At a working meeting of the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, with members of the city government, the conclusion of an agreement with an investor on the reconstruction of a building at 5 Malaya Morskaya str., letter A for an indoor sports facility was approved.
The investor plans to create a sports complex at the five-star Wawelberg Hotel.
"The new facility will complement the sports infrastructure of the Central District. It will create comfortable conditions for residents of St. Petersburg and guests of the city. The project will be implemented in compliance with all requirements for the reconstruction of historical buildings," Alexander Beglov said.
It is planned to equip gyms, group training rooms, a personal training room, a yoga and pilates room, a pool area with a bowl, massage rooms, as well as halls for classes in various sports areas for visitors.
The period of reconstruction of the building and the validity of the agreement for the period of reconstruction is 45 months.
