SPIEF 2025: New overpass to be built in Frunzensky and Nevsky districts of St. Petersburg

On June 19, 2025, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Forum, an agreement of intent was signed between St. Petersburg and TOLL ROAD OF THE NORTHERN CAPITAL LLC for the implementation of a project to create and operate a section of highway of regional significance in the alignment of Salova St. - Bolshoy Smolensky Ave. with an overpass through the railway line of the Moscow direction as part of the highway from Strikes to the ave . Energetikov with a bridge over the river. Neva River in the alignment of B. Smolensky Ave. – Kollontai St. from ave. Obukhovskaya Oborona to Far Eastern ave.

The agreement was signed by Nikolay Linchenko, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, and Dmitry Belyakov, General Director of TOLL ROAD of THE NORTHERN CAPITAL LLC.

The overpass in the Salova Street alignment will be a continuation of the implementation of the new transport highway in the alignment of Bolshoy Smolensky Ave. and will become part of the latitudinal link from Blagodatnaya St. to Ave. Energy companies.

The overpass as part of the chord will become part of the necessary transport corridor around the city center, increase the capacity of the main highways and the main frame of the road network, connect disparate existing sections of main streets and roads, relieve the central areas of the city, and receive traffic from peripheral areas.
