The investor completed the construction of a sports facility in Kolpino ahead of schedule

ANO "Center for the Promotion and Development of Wrestling A.A. Roshchin" completed the construction of a wrestling gym on the territory of St. Petersburg GBU SOC Izhorets a few months ahead of schedule. On September 12, 2025, the State Construction Supervision and Expertise Service of St. Petersburg issued a permit for the commissioning of the facility.
The A.A. Roshchin Wrestling Gym is located in Kolpino on Tverskaya Street, building 25, building 4, building 1. The facility is designed for conducting classes in the following types of martial arts: Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, women's freestyle wrestling, pankration and grappling.
A two-storey building with a total area of over 900 sq. m. The meters are equipped with modern equipment for training and skill improvement, including specialized simulators. On the ground floor there is a wrestling room, a multifunctional gym, as well as a utility room, an individual heating point. On the second floor there are administrative offices, a coaching room, showers and locker rooms, and a medical office. Comfortable halls have been created for the convenience of visitors.
The sports facility was named after Anatoly Alexandrovich Roshchin, a Soviet Greco–Roman wrestler, Olympic champion in 1972, multiple world, European and Soviet champion, and one of the best wrestlers in the world in the 1960s and 1970s.
The investment project contributes to the implementation of the priority "Health of Petersburgers". In particular, the construction of a new sports hall is an important step for the popularization of wrestling, the development of children's sports and the formation of a network of publicly accessible sports facilities in St. Petersburg to promote health through physical education on a regular basis.
In accordance with the terms of the project, the investor is currently preparing documents for the gratuitous transfer of the sports facility to the city.
