The year-round seaside resort "St. Petersburg Marina" will become an important part of the new tourist geography of the Northern capital
Today, a meeting was held in St. Petersburg, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, dedicated to the implementation of the project "St. Petersburg‑Petersburg Marina". The meeting was attended by the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Yuri Gordeev, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Transport, Federal Property Management Agency, Rosavtodor, and Tourism Corporation.The Russian Federation, the investor.
"The construction of megaprojects of the XXI century is among the ten key priorities for the development of St. Petersburg. Such megaprojects include the creation of an all-season seaside resort "Saint Petersburg‑Petersburg Marina". Due to the unique natural conditions and transport accessibility, it will become an important part of the new tourist geography of the Northern Capital. The resort in Gorskaya will create an additional tourist flow of 1.3 million people per year and will make a significant contribution to the city's economy," Alexander Beglov noted.
He also recalled that thanks to the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin, this megaproject was included in the federal project "Five Seas and Lake Baikal", in turn included in the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry".
To implement the project of creating a new all-season resort in Gorskoy Gorod, together with the investor, he developed a roadmap and documentation on the layout of the territory within the boundaries of the project. Changes have been made to the General Plan of St. Petersburg, and proposals have been prepared to adjust the Rules of Land Use and development. The investor has completed the development of a master plan and passports for road and engineering infrastructure
At the end of October, the Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of St. Petersburg issued two urban planning plans for land plots in Lisy Nos with an area of 25.6 hectares and 9.6 hectares for the implementation of the first stage of the project. A yacht club and a yachting school will open on these sites as part of the St. Petersburg Marina tourism cluster.
It should be noted that as part of the first stage of the project, until 2026, it is planned to create a full-cycle marina with the possibility of winter storage for 1,000 yachts and summer parking with a capacity of up to 1,500 yachts, which will allow it to receive the status of the largest marina in Russia.
At the second stage, it is planned to build a sports cluster, a film studio with a theme park, an extreme park with indoor and outdoor areas, water sports stations, hotel quarters, an educational center, and a business center. Unique public spaces will be created on the territory of the resort, including embankments and a park area along the Gulf of Finland.
Recall that the area of the resort will be 160 hectares. The number of new jobs is at least 7000.
