    The St. Petersburg team participates in the training program of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation

    Today, the third and final module of the educational program "Managerial Skills: Development of regional teams" started at the Presidential Academy in Moscow. During the four-day training, investment teams from 45 regions of Russia, including St. Petersburg, will gain the necessary skills to improve their managerial competencies in developing and promoting the investment potential of the territories.
    The program was developed by experts from the RANEPA Higher School of Public Administration in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development on behalf of the President of Russia in order to create a comprehensive support system for new investment projects in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
    The program is attended by Dmitry Kapitov, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee, Inga Dostal, Deputy Director for Investment Project Support at the Investment Management Committee, and representatives of the St. Petersburg State Order Committee, the Property Relations Committee, Gosstroynadzor, the Labor and Employment Committee, the Construction Committee, and the Construction Committee. Energy and Engineering Support, Project Office of the Administration of the Governor of St. Petersburg, as well as resource supply organizations and business associations of our city.
    A special feature of the third module of the program are the topics of digitalization and artificial intelligence in investment process management. The participants will also consider the issues of forming a National model of targeted business conditions, supporting the investment activity of small and medium-sized businesses. The training will focus on goal-setting tools in developing a territorial development strategy and setting up a system for continuously improving the investment climate.
    One of the important tracks of the program is the improvement of the tools of the Regional Investment Standard (RIS) and the study of best practices in the implementation of RIS.
    End-to-end events will include project work, team-building assignments, and exchange of experience.
    Lectures and master classes will be conducted by experts from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, ASI, SME Corporation, and teachers from the RANEPA Graduate School of Public Administration.
    On the final day, October 17, a plenary session "Spatial development of the country as a basis for changing approaches to attract investment" is scheduled with the participation of members of the Russian Government, heads of public and business associations.
    As a result of the training, the teams will have to complete the defense of project work on the target model of the investment climate management system in the region.
    The results of the regions' efforts to create favorable business conditions will be reflected in the National Rating of the Investment Climate.
    It should be recalled that in St. Petersburg, investment projects are supported on the basis of a single window, which provides organizational and advisory assistance to businesses at all stages of project implementation.

    St. Petersburg has been participating in the Management Excellence: Developing Regional Teams program since its launch in 2022. In 2025, more than 800 representatives of regional investment teams are being trained.
