An investor has built a large hotel in the north of St. Petersburg

On September 4, 2025, a new hotel opened its doors to guests in the Kalininsky district at 83 Prosveshcheniya Avenue – the SVET hotel. The modern three-star multifunctional hotel complex was built by JSC SZ "Hotel Vvedensky" as part of the implementation of the strategic investment project of St. Petersburg.
The SVET hotel has 802 comfortable rooms in various categories – from standard to suite, including 34 rooms for people with limited mobility, three large halls for training and conferences, a sports hall, a panoramic restaurant "Luch" with a summer terrace and a children's room, as well as a lobby bar, banquet facilities and a full cycle food production. The guests have access to the market hall on the ground floor of the hotel, where related services and much more are located.
The new hotel offers a wide range of services for tourists with different purposes of visiting St. Petersburg, including business trips, family trips, long-term stays and work in a convenient location in the north of the city.
The project focuses on comfort, safety, ergonomics of spaces and modern technological solutions. The interior of the hotel uses environmentally friendly materials, modular systems, and energy-saving technologies. Guests can appreciate the high level of technical equipment, including silent elevators, an air conditioning system, high-speed Internet, and a smart key access system.
The hotel provides convenient parking, is distinguished by its proximity to the Ring Road and good transport accessibility – the Grazhdansky Prospekt metro station can be reached on foot, and the center of St. Petersburg can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
The implementation of the investment project has contributed to the development of the tourist infrastructure – the new facility has joined the community of independent hotels in St. Petersburg, NORD hotels. The opening of the hotel has created about 400 new jobs.
