    Marino Industrial Park celebrates its birthday

    On July 4, a business breakfast with residents dedicated to the birthday of the industrial park was held at the Marino site. Alexey Gubarev, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee, took part in the event.
    "For 17 years, the Marino Industrial Park has established itself as a well-organized and sought-after territory of St. Petersburg, where significant projects for the city are successfully implemented. The land plots in Marino are fully provided with engineering and road transport infrastructure and provide all the necessary conditions for the construction of modern production facilities. Undoubtedly, such a high degree of preparation of the territory is of great importance and value for investors," Alexey Gubarev noted in his welcoming speech.
    He also stressed the importance of investments in industry and St. Petersburg's achievements in this area.
    The index of industrial production in St. Petersburg in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 111.3%, in manufacturing – 112.4%. This is the highest figure in the last 10 years, almost twice as much as the average in Russia, and it was possible to achieve such results, including through attracting investments.
    Last year, 1.2 trillion rubles of investments were attracted to the economy of St. Petersburg as a whole, while industry (209.4 billion rubles), including manufacturing (102.1 billion rubles), as well as transportation and storage (204.3 billion rubles) remain the leading industries in terms of investment.
    For the first quarter of 2024, the volume of investments The contribution to the economy of the Northern capital has grown by more than a quarter compared to last year's figures. According to the results of the first three months of this year, the volume of investments in fixed assets amounted to 238.9 billion rubles, which is 26.3% higher than in the same period last year.
    Like the economy as a whole, the industry in St. Petersburg is multidisciplinary, investors are interested in almost all areas: This includes the production of pharmaceuticals with medical products, and food production, and radio electronics, and mechanical engineering, and electrical equipment, and many other areas.
    Support measures developed on behalf of the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, allow increasing investments in the real sector. The opening of industrial parks and technoparks with high-quality infrastructure is one of the most demanded measures.
