SPIEF 2026: A new sports complex with a swimming pool will be built in St. Petersburg

On June 4, 2026, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, an agreement of intent was signed between St. Petersburg and Galant LLC in the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a sports complex.

The document was signed by Nikolay Linchenko, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, and Igor Malov, General Director of Galant LLC.

The agreement provides for the construction of a multifunctional sports complex in Primorsky district on Sittseva Street, including a gym, a swimming pool for recreational swimming classes, a children's pool for introducing children to the water, bleachers for spectators with 110 seats, a martial arts hall, a gym and gym halls for visitors.

The construction of a new modern sports complex is aimed at creating conditions for leading a healthy lifestyle, which corresponds to the objectives of the priority "Health of Petersburgers".

The implementation of the project will strengthen the investment attractiveness of St. Petersburg in terms of sports infrastructure development, as well as create new jobs.

Galant LLC is part of a group of companies that has successfully implemented projects for the construction of modern sports complexes in the Primorsky and Vasileostrovsky districts of St. Petersburg, such as the Optik Sports Academy, the Optik Football Arena, squash on Vasilyevsky, and the Bogatyr outdoor skating rink.
