Seven companies of St. Petersburg became laureates of the Investor of the Year award

Each of the investment projects awarded by the Government of St. Petersburg‑The project was implemented in the past two years, despite all the challenges of the time.

The winners were selected by the competition commission in the key areas of socio-economic development of our city:

• in the field of culture and tourism - Investstroy company (project "Glinz Hotel from Ginza Project, 4 stars");
• in the consumer market - Rodina Vkusa LLC (project "Balagan Gastronomic Space");
• in the field of industry - JSC Pharmasynthesis-Nord, which built the second stage of the scientific and production complex for the development and production of medicines at the Novoorlovskaya site of the Special Economic Zone St. Petersburg‑Petersburg";
• in the field of territorial development – ANO for the development of the tourist and recreational cluster in Kronstadt "Island of Forts" (project to create the museum and historical park "Island of Forts");
• in the field of transport infrastructure - Setl Invest LLC "for the construction of a road in the residential complex "Sunny City";
• in the social sphere - Baltiyskaya Zhemchuzhina CJSC for the construction of a semi-detached building of a children's and adult polyclinic and an emergency department for five ambulances;
• in the field of preservation of cultural heritage objects - LLC "Project" for the reconstruction of the monument of federal significance "The building of the guardhouse of the Kamennoostrovsky Palace".

The governor recalled that this year the first offset contract in the history of the city was signed in St. Petersburg. To support investors, St. Petersburg is developing and implementing new investment mechanisms. In particular, our city became the first in Russia to apply the principle of public-private partnership in the construction of large infrastructure facilities. The developed Regional Investment Standard of St. Petersburg was highly appreciated by the business community.‑St. Petersburg. The Investor of the Year competition is also one of the measures to support and encourage Russian and foreign legal entities engaged in investment activities in St. Petersburg. Applications for participation in the Investor of the Year 2023 competition were accepted by the Investment Committee of St. Petersburg‑St. Petersburg in the period from August 18 to 31, 2023.

The competition is held every two years.
