Petersburg front office shared its investors involving methods with the regions

Anna Isakova, St. Petersburg State Budget Institution head and Dmitry Slashchev, investor relations organization department (front office) head, represented St. Petersburg at the II Congress of regional investment agencies and development corporations. The National Association of Investment Agencies thanked St. Petersburg front office for their active cooperation and significant contribution to the mechanisms formation for the investors involving to St. Petersburg.

II Congress of regional investment agencies and development corporations took place on September 26-28, 2019 in the Republic of Tatarstan and gathered 140 representatives of federal executive bodies, federal and regional development institutions, the World Bank, and investment companies from 60 Russian regions. The participants discussed the specialized organizations’ activities and development for the investments raising and interaction with investors in the Russian Federation’s constituent entities within the business program.

The Congress was organized by the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies, as well as the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan represented by the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan. The congress was opened by Alexander Shokhin, the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Russian Union’s President.

Business and informal sessions were held within the event’s business program, including «Open Dialogue», «View from the Regions» business session’s key session successful practices, during which the regional investment and development agencies operation were presented. In addition, the event’s participants got acquainted with the «Innopolis» special economic zone and other investment sphere’s representatives, visited the «Innopolis» University, and a guided tour of the Unified Presentation Center of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The congress results will be summarized and submitted for consideration to the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
