The layout of the St. Petersburg Marina resort is presented at the My Petersburg exhibition

Today, the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov and Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko opened the exhibition of achievements "My Petersburg" at the museum and exhibition center "Russia - my History".
"St. Petersburg is represented here as part of a large country and a leading city, whose achievements are a contribution to the development and prosperity of Russia. Today, thanks to the support of the President of Russia, St. Petersburg is being transformed. While maintaining its uniqueness, it is developing and being built as a megacity of the XXI century," the governor said.
Alexander Beglov stressed that "My Petersburg" is an exhibition-journey where everyone can become a participant in the life of a great city, feel like a part of it.
One of the most interesting exhibits of the exhibition was the layout of the all-season resort "St. Petersburg Marina", which is planned to be created on the site of the former Gorskaya industrial site. The concept of the project was presented by Ivan Skladchikov, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee.
The creation of a year-round seaside resort in St. Petersburg is being implemented on behalf of the President within the framework of the federal tourism development program "Five Seas and Lake Baikal".
According to the project concept, it is planned to build a yacht marina by 2026, as well as facilities for seasonal storage and repair of yachts and ships. In the next stages, in the period 2026-2030, a sports cluster, a film studio with a theme park, an extreme park with indoor and outdoor areas, water sports stations, hotel quarters, as well as an educational center and business space will appear on the territory of the resort.
The area of the resort will be 160 hectares. The expected tourist flow is 1.3 million tourists per year. The number of new jobs is 7000.
The master plan of the tourist cluster in Gorskaya is planned to be developed by the end of June.
Recall that President Vladimir Putin instructed the Government of the Russian Federation to approve the federal project "Five Seas and Lake Baikal" within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality".
    For reference:
The multimedia exhibition "My Petersburg" is located in ten thematic halls with a total area of 3,500 square meters. The northern capital became the first region to create its own exposition, inspired by the exhibition "Russia": The St. Petersburg stand at VDNH has become one of the most popular – it was visited by almost four million people.
