The Investment portal of St. Petersburg is a single point of access to up-to-date information on infrastructure, support measures and free investment sites

A joint meeting of two working groups of the Headquarters for Improving Business Conditions in St. Petersburg, "Entrepreneurship Development" and "Investment Improvement", was held today at the Nevsky Town Hall. The main topic of discussion was measures to support entrepreneurship in St. Petersburg.
The event, which brought together representatives of the small and medium-sized business support infrastructure and business associations, was led by Olga Goryshina, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee on Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade, and Kristina Sergeeva, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee.
The agenda included extensive coverage of various tools for informing entrepreneurs about existing government support measures. One of them is the official Investment portal of St. Petersburg - spbinvestment.ru .
"St. Petersburg annually occupies a leading position in the national rating of the investment climate, which, among other things, evaluates the convenience and functionality of the investment portals of the regions. In 2024, the Investment Portal of St. Petersburg became the winner of the National Award "Leaders of Investment Development" in the nomination "Best Investment Portal," noted Kristina Sergeeva.
She presented the Portal as a key digital tool that provides transparent, prompt and comprehensive support to investors at all stages of implementation, including informing them about available support measures.
In particular, the Portal is designed to simplify the way for investors to implement projects - from the emergence of an idea to its practical implementation - through a "Single Window" mechanism. Through a Personal Account in a unified form, a potential investor can submit applications and monitor the status of their consideration in real time, as well as store the history of interaction with authorities and the decisions received.
In addition, the Portal presents and constantly updates sections such as "Investment Infrastructure", as well as interactive services such as tariff and tax benefit calculators, an Investment map, and a Navigator for support measures. A potential investor has the opportunity to seek advice on the selection of relevant support measures and the conditions for their provision.
"By developing the Investment Portal, the Investment Committee focuses primarily on increasing the investment attractiveness of our city, reducing administrative barriers and providing investors with prompt access to official and up-to-date information about business opportunities in St. Petersburg," Kristina Sergeeva summed up.
During the meeting, Kirill Pozdnyak, Deputy Director of the Center for Business Development and Support, and Alexandra Pitkyanen, Executive Director of the St. Petersburg Small and Medium-Sized Business Lending Fund, spoke about comprehensive programs developed for St. Petersburg entrepreneurs, including criteria, mechanisms, and digital support services.
Elena Terentyeva, Chief Specialist of the Department for the Development of Economic Incentive Measures of the St. Petersburg Committee for Economic Policy and Strategic Planning, presented the Navigator on Business Support Measures, covering the main areas - tax, financial, information, property, labor, administrative, as well as preferential statuses.
The tools and support systems presented at the meeting aroused great interest among the participants. Representatives of the business community actively expressed their suggestions for improving information platforms developed to help businesses.
