Nine companies from St. Petersburg have won the Investor of the Year Award.

On November 27, 2025, a solemn ceremony was held to award the honorary badge "Investor of the Year" to companies actively involved in the development of St. Petersburg and those who implemented major infrastructure projects in 2023-2024. The fifth prize was held under the slogan "The future is being created today." The awards were presented to the winners by the Governor of St. Petersburg‑Alexander Beglov of St. Petersburg.
"Today we celebrate the investors who are changing St. Petersburg for the better. Thanks to you, our city is developing and moving forward. It implements large-scale megaprojects. Among them is the first stage of the Latitudinal Highway of high-speed traffic — Vitebsk interchange, the most important part of the transport framework of the city. Your projects are an important part of our program "Ten Priorities for the development of St. Petersburg‑St. Petersburg“. We are building a 21st century megacity together," said Alexander Beglov.
The winners were selected by the competition committee in nine nominations reflecting the key areas of socio-economic development of St. Petersburg.:
- in the field of preservation of cultural heritage sites - Monolith LLC (project adaptation of the cultural heritage site "Mansion of A.P. Shuvalov (E.A. Vorontsova-Dashkova)" for a boutique hotel);
- in the social sphere - Sotex LLC (a project to create schools under concession agreements in Pushkinsky, Krasnoselsky and Nevsky districts of St. Petersburg);
- in the field of territorial development - Baltiyskaya Zhemchuzhina CJSC (a project for the construction of a highway from the north side of blocks 32a-1 and 31a-1 with the reconstruction of Admiral Cherokov St., as well as the coastal protection of Baltiysky Boulevard);
- in the field of transport infrastructure – Northern Capital Highway LLC (Vitebsk interchange construction project);
- in the field of the consumer market - LLC Teremok-Confectionery (a project for the development of a chain of home-cooked restaurants Teremok in St. Petersburg);
- in the field of industry or industrial infrastructure - Admiral Logistics Group LLC (a project for the construction of a transport and logistics complex in the Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg);
- in the field of culture and tourism - Ice LLC (the construction project of the North Park Arena in the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg);
- in the field of information technology, education and science - ROSSETI Asset Management JSC (project to create an intelligent laboratory of digital networks);
- in the field of sports, SKA Arena LLC (a project for the reconstruction of the St. Petersburg SKK on Yuri Gagarin Ave. in order to create a multifunctional sports and leisure complex).
The Governor stressed that St. Petersburg is steadily strengthening its status as one of the country's leaders in terms of investment attractiveness and business activity. Last year, our city set an absolute record for investments in fixed assets – 1 trillion 529 billion rubles. This is 10.5% more than a year earlier. Moreover, in 2024, St. Petersburg became the country's leader in the dynamics of the implementation of PPP projects. At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June, our city signed agreements worth more than a trillion rubles for the second year in a row. A set of government support measures has been developed for entrepreneurs and investors in St. Petersburg. In particular, the status of a "large-scale investment project" (MaIP), which provides land lease benefits, has already been assigned to three industrial projects, and it is planned to conclude new agreements for the implementation of MaIP for manufacturing enterprises. Larger investment projects that are significant for the city in terms of innovation detail and import substitution are given the status of "strategic".
The Investor of the Year competition is also one of the measures to support and encourage companies engaged in investment activities in St. Petersburg. This year, the list of award nominations has been updated. Thus, a new nomination was added – "For the implementation of the best investment project in the field of sports." In addition, changes have been made to the names of the nominations.: "For the implementation of the best investment project in the field of information technology, education and science" and "For the implementation of the best investment project in the field of industry or industrial infrastructure".
Prior to the award ceremony, a panel discussion was held on the implementation of major infrastructure projects in St. Petersburg, which was attended by Dmitry Pankratov, General Director of Baltnedvizhservice LLC, Igor Stepanov, First Deputy General Director of Pulkovo Airport JSC, and Andrey Tsapu, Director of Public Relations at Magistral of the Northern Capital LLC.

The competition is held every two years. Applications for participation in the "Investor of the Year-2025" competition were accepted by the Investment Committee of St. Petersburg‑St. Petersburg in the period from April 22 to May 22, 2025. The list of winners of the selection for the award in 2025 is established by the Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg dated September 16, 2025 No. 682 "On awarding the award of the Government of St. Petersburg – the honorary badge "Investor of the Year".
