A sports complex, providing both a swimming pool and an ice arena inside, will be built in Metallostroy

St. Petersburg government approved the land plot transfer in Metallostroy village to Gazprom’s Social Initiatives Support Fund in order to build a fitness center.

The facility construction period and land lease contract validity on investment terms is 48 months. The complex is intended for fitness and health-improving and educational trainings, including for persons with reduced mobility, on ice hockey, figure skating, futsal, basketball, volleyball, swimming, strength training.

The complex project consists of three blocks, including one-story closed ice arena block, sports halls and auxiliary rooms block as well as a two-storied block, providing a swimming pool, lobby, administrative and auxiliary rooms.

The fitness center construction is carried out within St. Petersburg’s «Gazprom for Children» social program.
