The construction of four exits of the Skipper interchange of the Western High-speed Diameter has been completed

At the third stage of construction of the Western High-Speed Diameter highway interchange, four new exits were built in the Skipper Bayou area, which connect Kruzenshtern Ave. and Skipper Bayou St. to the ZSD. As part of the work on the third stage, the construction of the section from Skipper Bayou Street to Skipper Bridge continues.
Currently, work is underway on the reconstruction of engineering networks and structures falling within the construction zone of the third stage, the construction of pavement structures, as well as the necessary road engineering networks. The work is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
The opening of traffic on the new exits will take place after the completion of all construction stages, including the adjacent road network.
It should be recalled that the construction of the ZSD transport interchange in the Skipper Bayou area is being carried out in stages – previously, the movement of motor vehicles in continuous operation mode was launched at previous stages. In December 2023, as a result of the completion of work on the second stage, automobile traffic was opened along three exits of the interchange, ensuring the connection of the alluvial territories of Vasilyevsky Island in the directions of pr. Kruzenshtern → ZSD South and ZSD North, as well as ZSD North → etc. Krusenstern. In August 2024, as part of the implementation of phase 3.1. automobile traffic was started along another exit, providing traffic in the direction of the South → pr. Krusenstern.
Construction of the Skipper interchange of the ZSD began in November 2021. The project is being implemented in the format of a public-private partnership.
