A new highway will ease the traffic load on the streets of St. Petersburg

Delovoy Peterburg told how the round table on development of highways in the northern capital had been held with participation of speakers from the investment-and-transport unit of Smolny, as well as organizations that take part in the Western High-Speed Diameter and Latitudinal High-Speed Traffic Highway projects.

The key topic of the experts' discussion was impact of construction of the Latitudinal High-Speed Traffic Highway of the second high-speed highway on the economy of the city, based on the mechanism of public-private partnership, as well as development of a comfortable urban infrastructure and transport frame of St. Petersburg.

Roman Golovanov, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee, told how much money in the city budget and jobs for Petersburgers would make the new transport project.
