New gas filling station in St. Petersburg will provide fuel for up to 400 vehicles per day

The grand opening of a new station for refueling vehicles with environmentally friendly petrol – natural gas – took place in St. Petersburg.

The event was held with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Board of PJSC Gazprom Vitaly Markelov, as well as members of the St. Petersburg government.

The natural gas vehicle refuelling compressor station (NGV-refuelling compressor station) No. 4, located at 82, building 3, Salova Street, is equipped with six filling stations with a total capacity of 7.8 million cubic meters of natural gas per year. Refueling time for large-sized vehicles at this station is no more than 20 minutes, and for light vehicles - no more than 5 minutes. The station's capacity is more than 400 vehicles per day.

The facility was built using modern high quality equipment and materials. The anchor consumers of natural gas will be passenger road transport, taxis, as well as road utilities and companies providing freight transportation services.

With the opening of the new station, the total number of Gazprom's gas filling facilities, including natural gas vehicle refuelers, in St. Petersburg has grown to nine. The use of environmentally friendly petrol contributes to a comfortable urban environment.
