The design documentation for the Gorskaya collector – the Konnaya Lakhta TCC for the St. Petersburg Marina resort has been approved.

The Federal Autonomous Institution “Glavgosekspertiza Rossii” issued a positive conclusion on the design and estimate documentation for the Gorskaya sewer collector – Konnaya Lakhta TCC as part of the construction of the all‑season seaside resort “Saint Petersburg Marina” in Gorskaya. The collector will provide the necessary capacity to connect the future resort area to the wastewater disposal systems.
“We are fulfilling the President’s instruction to build the sports and recreational complex “Saint Petersburg Marina” in Gorskaya. This is one of our mega‑projects included in the ‘10 Priorities for the Development of St. Petersburg’ until 2030.” The appearance of the Sailing Academy – the main building of the complex – has recently been approved. The city has now received approval from Glavgosekspertiza and is beginning construction of the collector for the future tourist cluster. We plan to start work in late September – early October,” Governor Alexander Beglov noted.
The new collector will drain wastewater from Gorskaya through the village of Konnaya Lakhta and on to the Northern Aeration Station. The length of the facility is 2.2 km, the diameter is 1.5/1.78 meters, the laying depth is 8.54–11.29 meters, and the capacity is 65,684.85 cubic meters per day.
The construction of the collector is provided for in the General Plan of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Water Supply and Sanitation Scheme. The route selection in the Primorsky and Kurortny districts was carried out taking into account the minimum length of the network construction, ensuring the possibility of creating a collector using the microtunneling method in accordance with the geological structure of the soils, and minimizing the impact on existing buildings and the landscape.
It should be recalled that, following the competitive selection of infrastructure projects, St. Petersburg was approved for a treasury infrastructure loan from the federal budget in the amount of 10 billion rubles for the construction of the Gorskaya – Konnaya Lakhta sewer collector. The planned completion date for the facility’s construction is 2028.
As part of the mega‑project to create a cluster, it is also planned to build a new boiler house, water supply networks, and high‑ and medium‑pressure gas supply pipelines, as well as to reconstruct the existing water supply station.
The future resort is part of the federal project “Five Seas and Lake Baikal” under the national project “Tourism and Hospitality” and will become the new core of St. Petersburg’s tourism ecosystem.

The all‑season resort in Gorskaya covers an area of 160 hectares on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, where by 2020 it is planned to create a yacht club with the largest marina in Russia, a yachting school, facilities for seasonal storage and repair of yachts and vessels, and various public spaces.
The total investment in the project is estimated at more than 250 billion rubles. The number of new jobs in Gorskaya is at least 7,000. It is expected that the project will attract more than 1.3 million tourists per year. The room stock will be at least 6,700 rooms. The length of the coastline (beach) is 1.7 km.
