SPIEF-2026: Data processing centers will be built in the Moscow and Vyborg districts of St. Petersburg
On June 4, 2026, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, two agreements of intent were signed on the implementation of investment projects in the field of information technology in St. Petersburg.
The documents were signed by Nikolay Linchenko, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, and Dmitry Sharov, managing owner of Perspektiva Data Center and SPb Data Center.
The signed agreements envisage the establishment of long-term cooperation and interaction between the parties in the field of information technology development, including the implementation of projects for the construction of data processing centers (data centers) in the Moscow and Vyborg districts of St. Petersburg.
The creation of modern data centers with convenient transport accessibility will provide high-quality IT infrastructure for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as large industry and cross-industry companies.
The project is aimed at improving the quality of services in the field of cloud storage technologies, creating additional opportunities to attract investment in business development, increasing the economic efficiency of companies and sales, and increasing tax deductions to the budget.
