«Kolomyagi» futbol club will be built in the Primorsky district

St. Petersburg Government approved the plot provision on Solunskaya street in the Primorsky District of St. Petersburg to ANO Football Club «Kolomyagi».

The project implies three-story sports complex construction, while using modern technologies for educational classes, intended for children and adolescents, amateur and children’s football tournaments at various levels, as well as training seminars for coaches, sports doctors and young athletes’ parents.

«Our goal was to provide the football club with the plot in its small «homeland» in Kolomyagi in order to create our own modern training base, — Roman Golovanov, St. Petersburg Investment Committee Chairman said. «Now over 700 children, aged from 5 to, are playing football at the club. It’s worth mentioning that new platform will significantly increase such children number».

The new stadium construction implies the modern solutions and energy-saving technologies construction to ensure a comfortable training process. Two football fields, equipped with artificial turf and heating area of ​​7500 and 3500 square meters will provide the athletes with an opportunity to engage in outdoor football year-round.

E-sports center will be created in the sports complex for the first time in St. Petersburg, where the athletes will be able to develop valuable thinking skills to be used on the football field while using intelligent technologies.

The planned investment volume is 460 million rubles. The facility’s construction period as well as the land lease the validity on investment terms basis is 60 months.

Large-scale IT innovations introduction in the youth sports field is planned within the current project implementation, which will contribute to the sports infrastructure development in the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg as well as the sports popularization among the population.
