Progress of sports investment projects was checked in St. Petersburg

Roman Golovanov, Chairman of the Investment Committee of St. Petersburg and Anna Isakova, acting Director of Investment Management, St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution, took part in a visit to Primorsky District with Vice Governor Vladimir Kirillov.

The commission visited a number of addresses where investors create sports facilities. So, the participants visited a site on Sitsevaya Street, where construction of an indoor sports complex is underway (the total area about 17 thousand square meters). The concept of the project provides for a swimming pool, a sports hall, gyms and other functional premises.

On Shavrov Street, the participants checked the land plot that was provided for construction of an indoor sports complex.

The commission also checked progress in construction of an artificial ice-skating rink on Marshal Novikov Street and a future sports complex with four ice rinks on Komendantsky Avenue.

Currently, 33 land plots have been provided to private investors in St. Petersburg for implementation of projects of construction of sports facilities. Over the past 5 years, more than 15 sports facilities have been built in the city at the expense of extra-budgetary sources.
