New refueling complex and an industrial enterprise will emerge in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg Government has approved the territory planning project for the machine-building plant construction to produce packaging equipment for «Tauras-Phoenix» company in the industrial zone in the Primorsky district.

A new enterprise on filling and packaging equipment production will be built on the site, limited by Mebelnaya and Planernaya streets, as well as the planned passage and extension of Staroderevenskaya street.

Annual production of 250 units of equipment for filling and packaging food products, which level is equal to foreign counterparts one, will be established at the new production site. The company will create about 800 jobs.

«Tauras-Phoenix» company was founded in Leningrad in 1987 and currently is now one of the largest Russian manufacturers of automatic filling and packaging machines.

In addition, the layout project with a land surveying project for fueling complex placement in «Pulkovo» airport was adopted at the governor meeting with the government members.

It is planned to build a refueling complex for the uninterrupted refueling of aircraft, including long-haul carriers, within the project implementation.

Investment projects for the refueling complex construction in «Pulkovo» and filling and packaging equipment production factory are recognized to be strategic investment projects in St. Petersburg.
