A public discussion of the first edition of the draft National Standard for Public-Private Cooperation has begun.

State Development Corporation "VEB.The Russian Federation has developed the first version of the draft national standard "Public-Private Cooperation. General provisions", which is posted for general discussion.
The draft national standard is posted on the web sites.RF and DEVELOP.RF.
The President of Russia instructed VEB to develop a national standard for public-private cooperation.Russia at the Eastern Economic Forum in 2025. The standard is included in the National Standardization Program for 2026. The document is advisory in nature and does not imply the introduction of new mandatory requirements.
The first version of the draft national standard contains basic approaches and principles of interaction between the state and private capital aimed at the effective implementation of infrastructure projects, improving the quality of life and sustainable development. The approval of the standard is planned as the first step towards creating a system of national standards dedicated to various forms of interaction between the public and private sides of PPPs.
