    SPIEF-2024: an agreement was signed on the development of a pilot zone for the introduction of robotics technologies in St. Petersburg

    On June 6, 2024, at the SPIEF site, in the presence of Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Nikolai Linchenko and Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee Ivan Skladchikov, a cooperation agreement was signed between ITMO Highpark and the Robotics Consortium in order to develop a pilot zone for the introduction of robotics technologies in St. Petersburg. The document was signed by Andrey Nazarov, CEO of ITMO Highpark, and Director, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Association of Enterprises for the Development and Production of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems "Industrial Cluster "Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems" ("Consortium of Robotics") Victor Tolmachev. Cooperation between the parties under the agreement involves the development, promotion and support of innovative projects and competitive technologies in the field of robotics in the territory of the ITMO Highpark Technology Valley. For reference: The Robotics Consortium was established in 2021 to develop the Russian market of robotics and intelligent control systems. Currently, it unites more than 40 leading Russian manufacturers and integrators of robotic solutions, scientific and educational organizations in key areas: 1. Industrial robotics. 2. Robotics technologies and components. 3. Artificial intelligence and intelligent control systems. 4. Service robotics: educational, medical, marine, space, special. 5. Transport robotics: highly automated vehicles (VATS); infrastructure of unmanned logistics corridors (BLCs); unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
