    ABZ-1 Group of Companies has taken the initiative to implement socially significant PPP projects

    On June 5, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Nikolai Linchenko, Vice Governor of St. Petersburg, held a working meeting with the management of ABZ-1 Group of Companies dedicated to promising public-private partnership (PPP) projects in St. Petersburg.

    The discussion was attended by Ivan Skladchikov, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee; Dmitry Kapitov, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee; Vladimir Kalinin, Head of the ABZ-1 Group of Companies; Mikhail Kalinin, CEO of ABZ-1; Leonid Gindin, CEO of ABZ-Dorstroy; and Leonid Gindin, First Deputy Chairman of the ABZ-1 Group of Companies.     During the meeting, the possibility of implementing significant projects for St. Petersburg using the PPP mechanism was discussed. This includes the further development of the Slavyanka tram line, in particular its extension to the planned St. Petersburg State University campus in the Pushkin district.

    Taking into account the high competencies of ABZ-1 Group in the construction of complex infrastructure facilities, it was decided that ABZ-1 Group would prepare a legal analysis and legal structures for the projects discussed at the meeting.

    A year earlier, at SPIEF 2025, an agreement was signed between the Government of St. Petersburg and ABZ-Dorstroy JSC to develop a promising tram line from the infrastructure of the Kupchino-Shushary-Slavyanka concession project to the promising development area of St. Petersburg State University.
