SPIEF 2026: Pulkovo Airport plans to develop technological innovations

On June 3, 2026, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, an agreement of intent was signed at the stand of St. Petersburg between Air Gates of the Northern Capital LLC and the Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation.
In the presence of Ivan Skladchikov, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Investment Committee, the document was signed by Leonid Sergeev, General Director of Northern Capital Air Gate LLC, and Alexey Parabuchev, General Director of the Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation.
The agreement provides for joining the efforts of the parties to further develop innovative projects in Pulkovo.
As part of the agreements reached, the airport's development strategy will be aimed at improving the efficiency of operations, reducing passenger service time, and introducing unmanned vehicles and artificial intelligence to manage resources and forecast passenger traffic.
Recall that in 2025, Pulkovo Airport became the first platform for testing the Migom biometric service, which allows passengers to travel without presenting a passport during pre-flight procedures.
