The architectural appearance for the new buildings of ITMO Highpark has been agreed upon

The Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of St. Petersburg has agreed on the appearance of dormitories and buildings of the ITMO Highpark project. In particular, the architectural appearance of the third and fourth buildings of dormitories for ITMO, the Center for Information Technology, the Center for Life and Health Sciences and the Center for Photonics and Quantum Technologies has been coordinated. The objects are created as part of the second stage of the project.

The creation of the Yuzhny satellite city is a strategic investment project, and ITMO Highpark is a driver for the development of the territory in the Pushkinsky district of St. Petersburg.

ITMO Highpark is a scientific center that will occupy about 86 hectares in the satellite city of Yuzhny. 6 thousand students will study here and about 12 thousand specialists will work. The project is being implemented on behalf of the President to create a network of world-class campuses in Russia by 2030.

In August 2023, the first stone was laid at the ITMO Highpark construction site. As part of the 1st stage, the main academic building of the University, two dormitories for students, a student club and a source of heat and cold supply are being built. The first stage of construction is planned to be completed in 2025.

The project is being implemented at the expense of federal and regional budgets.
