The first MaIP will be launched in St. Petersburg

At a working meeting of the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, with members of the city government, the targeted provision of a land plot in the Nevsky district to the NPC Morsvyazavtomatika company for the implementation of a large-scale investment project (MaIP) was approved.

The investor plans to expand the production of laser equipment for metal cutting. The area of the production complex will be about 11 thousand square meters, including the main and auxiliary workshops, premises for acceptance and packaging, a warehouse and a workshop.

"The investment project to expand the production of laser cutting units has been recognized as meeting the requirements for a large-scale investment project. We are talking about the development of the domestic machine tool industry," said Alexander Beglov. He stressed that the project is being implemented for the purpose of import substitution.

The construction period of the facility will be 48 months, the term of the contract will be 60 months.

It should be noted that the assignment of the MaIP status is one of the mechanisms for supporting investors in St. Petersburg, which allows you to obtain land without bidding to launch an industrial enterprise. Investors who are ready to invest from 350 million rubles in production can receive the status of MaIP. For them, renting a land plot will cost 1 ruble per square meter. The reduced rate is valid for the period of design and construction.
