Chizhik project takes part in the All-Russian competition «Reliable partner - Ecology»

The Chizhik High-speed Tram Project and Transport Concession Company LLC are taking part in the All-Russian Competition "Reliable Partner-Ecology" in the nomination The Best Project for Development of Infrastructure and Support for New Energy Vehicle and Green Methods of Transportation. 

The goal of the competition is to find successful and effective business projects that are harmless to the environment and aimed at preserving it.

The project for the creation, reconstruction and operation of the tram network in Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg is the first experience of a concession in the urban rail transport in Russia. Implementation of this project contributes to development of a transport infrastructure in this area due to the green direction, which is a fundamentally new city tram system. 

A concession agreement between St. Petersburg and Transport Concession Company LLC for this project was signed on May 30, 2016. Implementation of the project is supported by the Investment Committee of St. Petersburg. 

The online voting stage of the All-Russian competition is taking place at the moment.
