MARINE FASADE BOARD OF DIRECTORS DECLARED APPROVAL OF A NEW CHAIRMAN

On 31 May 2013, a regular council was held of the board of directors of the Marine Fasade passenger port of St Petersburg, an open joint-stock company. Irina Anatolyevna Babyuk, chairman of St Petersburg Investments Committee, was appointed a new chairman of the Board.

Also, on the agenda of the Board of directors stood work-related issues concerning realization of the budget and its amendment in connection with servicing by water transport of participants of the G20 summit meeting at the facilities of the St Petersburg passenger port in September 2013.

Construction of the Passenger Port is a major project implemented by way of public and private partnership pursuant to the Federal target program, “The development of Russian transport”, approved by the Russian Federation Government decree No.848 of 05.12.2001. The project is included in the strategy of social and economic development of the North-Western Federal District till the year 2020 and a Program for development of St Petersburg as a tourist hub during 2011-2016.
